Fastest memory kit with RGB heatsink
After showing off DDR4-4800 kit at the Computex show back in June last year and breaking the world record by getting its resident overclocker to push it to 5,500MHz just a few days later, G.Skill has now officially announced its fastest 16GB DDR4-4700 DDR4 Trident Z RGB memory kit.
Coming in 2.5-inch and M.2-2280 form-factors
Plextor has announced its new M8V series of value-oriented SSDs that will be available in 2.5-inch and M.2 form-factors, feature SATA 6Gbps interface and come in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities.
Higher capacity memory modules with fewer chips
SK Hynix has added single-die DDR4 memory chips featuring 16 Gb capacity to its product catalogue which means the outfit can build high capacity memory modules using fewer chips. It can also construct 256 GB DDR4 memory modules for ultra-high-end servers.
Everything is great
Western Digital has provided strong profit forecasts for the current quarter and the full year and said the flash memory market would grow faster this year.
